Mulberry – a brand with royal flair
Mulberry is a British brand renowned for timeless design and traditional leather craftsmanship. The brand’s range of bags, backpacks and accessories impresses with classic cuts and premium materials. Mulberry’s philosophy – “Made to Last” – is evident in every single piece. In addition to understated designs, the brand also offers bags with striking details and unique styles, often the result of collaborations with other designers or labels. A typical Mulberry handbag is elegant and subtle, characterised by a muted colour palette. Also typical are practical, everyday designs with a luxurious feel, such as the popular Mulberry Iris bag featuring an intricately braided handle. Since 1975, the British label’s signature look – Le Style Anglais – has blended elegance with functionality, making each Mulberry bag a perfect companion for daily life.

Over its long history, Mulberry has launched a number of iconic bags. Among the bestsellers is the Iris handbag, with its distinctive braided leather handle and side drawstrings. Available in a wide variety of sizes, colours and finishes – from pastel-toned mini bags to large handbags with a classic crocodile print – the versatile Mulberry Iris has become a firm favourite. There’s a perfect version for every woman.
But the British heritage brand offers far more than just handbags. Mulberry’s women’s collection includes shoulder bags, shoppers, evening bags and backpacks. As an alternative to the classic clutch, the brand also offers wallets with delicate chain straps – ideal for carrying the essentials while keeping your hands free for drinks or dancing. The wallet range is equally diverse: from compact card holders and medium-sized folding designs to classic zip-around styles. Women will also find long wallets with three-quarter zips and flap closures. The men’s collection is just as comprehensive – favourites include foldable trifold wallets with multiple card slots and ID windows. Men will also find a wide selection of Mulberry bags including crossbody bags, belt bags and briefcases. Whether for men or women, Mulberry backpacks impress with their modern, unisex look and wide choice of styles and materials. Urban models with clean lines are typically crafted from leather. Prefer something sportier? Casual designs in nylon are also part of the Mulberry range. A typical Mulberry backpack has a nostalgic touch, often featuring a drawstring closure and flap secured by one or two straps. Practical and stylish, these backpacks are also great for travel. The lifestyle brand’s travel range includes classic weekenders and other travel accessories.
Mulberry: classic craftsmanship meets British heritage
The story of Mulberry began at a kitchen table in rural Somerset, England, with the Saul family. In 1971, Roger Saul received £500 from his parents for his 21st birthday, used it to buy tools and materials, and started crafting handmade leather belts. By 1975, the brand had expanded into bags and achieved its breakthrough success. Even then, Mulberry bags were defined by their unique combination of British tradition, artisanal skill and elegant design. The iconic mulberry tree logo was created by the founder’s sister – a tribute to family values and a love of nature. Inspired by this connection to the natural world, the brand has launched a range of environmental initiatives. Today, most Mulberry bags are made from eco-certified leather and produced in a carbon-neutral process. Future sustainability goals include zero-waste production and increased use of recycled materials.
